Abstract
The palladium-catalysed reaction of o-iodoaniline with unsaturated hal ides or triflates in the presence of K2CO3 and catalytic amounts of Pd (PPh(3))(4) under an atmosphere of carbon monoxide affords 2-aryl- and 2-vinyl-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones in good to high yield.
