PERCOLATIVE TREATMENT OF THE RESTRICTED TRIMOLECULAR REACTION A-REVERSIBLE-ARROW-3X(2X)

We indicate the possibility of existence of a percolation-like transit ion in the behavior of the trimolecular reaction A + 2X reversible arr ow 3X on a 2-d square lattice, with the initial concentration p of X p articles serving as a control parameter. Using a renormalization group approach, we find that the transition value of p falls into the inter val 0 less than or equal to p(c) < 0.052.
