Abstract
A patient with hypercalcemia was found to have thyrotoxicosis and no o ther underlying cause for the elevated serum calcium level. Radioiodin e therapy relieved hyperthyroidism and hypercalcemia. We discuss the i ncidence of hypercalcemia in patients with thyrotoxicosis and mechanis ms for hypercalcemia in hyperthyroidism.
