Abstract
This paper presents an attempt to reconstruct the depth signal and amp lified spontaneous emission noise distribution of an Er3+-doped Ti:LiN bO3 waveguide. It deals with the problems related with the modelling, recovering and the reduction of the amplified spontaneous emission noi se in the profile of the optical waveguide amplifier.
