Abstract
Twinned Li2B4O7 crystals have been successfully grown by the Czochrals ki (CZ) method. Parameters necessary for the reproducible growth of tw inned Li2B4O7 crystal have been also investigated. A piezoelectric bim orph actuator using twinned Li2B4O7 crystal has been produced. It is c onfirmed that this actuator shows an excellent linearity between the a pplied voltage and displacement.
