Abstract
Facile syntheses of bis-tetraazamacrocycles are reported starting from tripotection of tetraazamacrocycles. The triprotected macrocycle was mono N-alkylated and then this compound reacted with another macrocycl e to give symmetrical or unsymmetrical bis-tetraazamacrocycles.
