(2) (dppe)] have been synthesised and the 1-oxacyclopent-2-ylidene lig
and in the derivative n = 1, L(2) = dppe shown to adopt a horizontal o
rientation; the crystallographically characterised, hydroxyvinylidene
complex [Mo{C=C(H)CH2CH2CH2OH}(dppe)(eta-C7H7)]PF6 is an isolable inte
rmediate in the formation of [Mo{CCH2(CH2)(2)CH2O}(dppe)(eta-C7H7)]PF6
