Abstract
Corrosive-erosive and erosive wear in cast low nickel nitrogenated aus tenitic stainless steels is higher than that in a standard CF8 grade s teel. Niobium addition (1 wt.%) to such (Fe-Cr-Ni-Mn-N) stainless stee ls, however, improves their resistance to both corrosive-erosive and e rosive wear.
