Abstract
Pyoderma gangrenosum is an uncommon cutaneous disorder that often begi ns as a small pustule, but results in localized skin destruction. The latter is characterized by an expanding ulceration with undermined vio laceous borders, It may be due to an altered immune response. It often , but not invariably, reflects underlying systemic disease.
