The differential cross-sections for e(+)e(-) --> e(+)e(-), e(+)e(-) --
> mu(+)mu(-) and e(+)e(-) --> tau(+)tau(-), and the total cross-sectio
n for e(+)e(-) --> <q(q)over bar> at centre-of-mass energies of 130-14
0 GeV were studied using about 5 pb(-1) of data collected with the OPA
L detector at LEP in October and November 1995. The results are in agr
eement with the Standard Model predictions. Four-fermion contact inter
action models were fitted to the data and lower limits were obtained o
n the energy scale Lambda at the 95% confidence level.
