Abstract
We describe a case of simultaneous nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's diseas e and a granulocytic sarcoma in a cervical lymph node without any prev ious therapy. The condition evolved into acute myelogenous leukemia ap proximately 8 months after the initial diagnosis of the granulocytic s arcoma. The unexpected presence of a granulocytic sarcoma made the dia gnosis challenging, and appropriate immunohistochemical studies were r equired for accurate diagnosis. To the best our knowledge, this is the first report of synchronous Hodgkin's disease and granulocytic sarcom a with eventual development of acute myelogenous leukemia. Copyright ( C) 1996 by W.B.
