Abstract
This paper describes the direction the ATM Forum (ATMF) is adopting fo r the support of voice and telephony over ATM (VTOA) to the desktop. T he goals of the ATMF are clearly outlined, along with the functional r equirements of VTOA. The areas of access and interworking are both cov ered, in addition to the services and features supported.
