Abstract
W Bootis, a small-amplitude (0.2 mag in V) red variable, pulsated with a period of 25 days from 1966 (or earlier) until 1990. From 1991 to 1 994, its period was about 50 days, except in 1993 when its period was about 35 days superimposed on a long-term (>200 days) variation. There was no evidence for the 25-day period after 1990. The most likely exp lanation is that the pulsation mode changed, possibly from fourth to s econd overtone.
