Abstract
Cross sections (cs) of the B-10(alpha,p(0))C-13, B-10(alpha,p(1))C-13 and B-11(alpha,p(0))C-14 reactions for NRA applications were measured for alpha-particle energies between 4 and 5 MeV and a laboratory scatt ering angle of 135 degrees and 7 MV Van de Graaff accelerator of IRMM by irradiation of enriched boron-10 and natural boron targets. Absolut e cs values were derived by using the simultaneously measured RBS spec tra of the alpha-projectiles on the Ta backings of the boron samples. The cs errors are less than 10%.
