Abstract
A diastereomer of the C-1-C-9 fragment of amphidinolide C, a potent cy totoxic 25-membered macrolide isolated from a marine dinoflagellate, A mphidinium sp., has been synthesized to provide an authentic sample fo r use in studies on the degradation of amphidinolide C.
