Abstract
Cooper's ligament, part of a more extensive ligamentous expansion of t
he pelvis, was first described by Sir Astley Paston Cooper in 1804. it
is still of great interest and value for modern medicine, especially
in regard to the surgical treatment of female stress incontinence.
