NEPHROBRONCHIAL FISTULA - A RARE MANIFEST ATION OF XANTHOGRANULOMATOUS PYELONEPHRITIS

Nephrobronchial fistula is a rare complication of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis. We present the case of a 54-year-old woman, who had be en treated for recurrent bronchopneumonia for 2 years before establish ment of the diagnosis. Differential diagnosis and therapeutic strategy are discussed on an interdisciplinary basis.
