Abstract
A melamine derivative bearing a guanidinium ion was found to act as a flavin mononucleotide (FMN) receptor via complementary hydrogen bondin g. The receptor extracts FMN in H2O into CHCl3 and acts as an effectiv e carrier for the transport of FMN through a liquid membrane of CHCl3.
