Abstract
A small assemblage of vertebrate microremains is reported from an earl iest Eifelian carbonate bed, with conodonts Icriodus corniger morphoty pes 1 and 2, at Sur Escarra III section, Tena valley, N. Huesca provin ce, Spain. It is composed of Placodermi? gen. et sp. indet., Elasmobra nchii gen. et sp. indet., Acanthodii gen. et sp, indet., and Sarcopter ygii gen. et sp. indet. This is the first documented Devonian vertebra te assemblage from the Pyrenees.
