Abstract
Mossbauer spectroscopy measurements are presented for Tm-169 nuclei in the Immm phase of Tm2BaNiO5. The temperature dependent hyperfine inte ractions are consistent with a Tm moment induced by the antiferromagne tically ordered Ni sub-lattice, and a Neel temperature of T-N = 14.5 K . There is evidence for a weak anomaly near T = 7 K. Copyright (C) 199 6 Elsevier Science Ltd
