W. Stelter et P. Ziegler, TRANSFEMORAL IMPLANTATION OF A BIFURCATED STENTGRAFT FOR INFRARENAL AAA, Langenbecks Archiv fur Chirurgie, 1996, pp. 1197-1197
The film demonstrates the transfemoral implantation of a bifurcated st
entgraft (Mialhe-STENTOR, MinTec), a self-expanding nitinol stent cove
red by a woven Dacron tissue. The stentgraft consists of two separate
pieces which are transfemorally introduced and assembled within the ao
rtic lumen to the final bifurcation. We prefer this system because of
its versatility and easy handling. The tape reflects our experience (7
8 cases in our own department, 25 elsewhere) in endovascular treatment
of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
