A. Szep et G. Mihaila, RESEARCH ON SIMULTANEOUS PRODUCTION OF AM MONIUM-CHLORIDE AND ACID SODIUM-CARBONATE, Revista de chimie, 47(8), 1996, pp. 743-749
The coordinates for a cyclic process to simultaneously obtain ammonium
chloride and acid sodium carbonate, were established by using the gra
phical and graphical-analytical method to study the equilibrium 1-s in
the double-change quaternary systems (1) and (9). Drawn to laboratory
state, the salification procedure proved reliable both by the paramet
ers achieved and by the quality of the phases thus got. It was proved
that the salification with crystalized salt allows the ammonium chlori
de separation at yields close to the theoretical ones (59.28 versus 61
.663%). The crystalized ammonium chloride is of technical grade qualit
y, having a min. 98.1% % NH4Cl content after washing.
