The effect some amides, got from carboxylic acids, with more than 16 c
arbon and di-, tri- and tetramine atoms, have upon the J-55 steel corr
osion in formation water, in the presence of CO2, was studied. Under l
aboratory conditions, the tested substances determined a corrosion rat
e reduction of 70-80%, in the temperature range of 20-60 degrees C.
