Primary and recurrent varicella tester virus infections are common con
ditions. Primary infection can now be treated with acyclovir or preven
ted by immunization, recurrent disease - tester, however, remains a th
erapeutic challenge. New antiviral agents, which have advantages over
acyclovir, have been shown to be effective against tester, but do not
eliminate the need for continued research towards the development of a
strategy for the comprehensive treatment of tester.
