Abstract
Neighborhood nursing is grounded in the public health nursing mission of promoting healthy communities by collaborating with consumers where they live, work, and go to school. A pilot project designed by the Vi siting Nurse Association of Central Jersey provides an example of the implementation and outcomes of neighborhood nursing and implications f or health policy and education.
