Abstract
Die-less drawing is a newly developed metal-forming technology that do es not use dies. In this paper, the law of drawing speed and heating-c ooling apparatus moving speed in variable-section tubular part die-les s drawing have been advanced for the first time. According to a study of theory and experiment. it has been proven that a geometric curve or a power-series curve presents the law of heating-cooling apparatus mo ving speed or the die-less drawing speed quite well.
