Abstract
Symptomatic bradycardia occurred in 11 of 213 patients (5.2%) survivin g >1 year after orthotopic heart transplantation, most of whom wen man aged with permanent pacemakers, Evidence for sinus and/or atrioventric ular node dysfunction was present in many cases, but patients at risk for this complication could not be predicted from baseline clinical ch aracteristics.
