Abstract
The authors report on a survey of the Ontario Durham Region to determi ne the views of the residents in that area about the relationship betw een racial or ethnic group status and criminality. They found that the population in that area is very similar to the one in Toronto and tha t it believes that there is a relationship between race and criminalit y.
