Abstract
The performance of cesium iodide doped with sodium is studied. The des ign and parameters of a CsI(Na) endcap calorimeter for the KEDR detect or are presented. Also reported are the results of the study of a calo rimeter element consisting of a CsI(Na) crystal coupled to a vacuum ph ototriode.
