Abstract
There are presented results of studies on the synthesis and properties of acrylic superabsorbents developed in the Institute of Heavy Organi c Synthesis and called Akrygel. Impact of the polymer crosslinking rat io, concentration and ratio of monomers, pH as well as the type and co ncentration of salt in the solution on the polymer capacity of water s orption has been determined.
