Abstract
Urease immobilized on commercial and custom made beds for affinity chr omatography has been used, Following beds have been applied to immobil ize the enzyme: bed for covalent chromatography with exchange of disul fide bridges (CAC-TDI), bed for bioaffinity chromatography (BAC) and b ed with immobilized mercury compounds (CIM). Catalytic properties of s oluble urease, urease immobilized by classical means and by the method of fast immobilization on beds for the affinity chromatography. The l atter showed good catalytic properties and can be applied to lab indus trial purposes.
