Abstract
We describe a case of lipoatrophy that was secondary to human insulin. The patient had only ever been treated with human insulin, and the li poatrophy appeared to partially resolve with continued use of the same insulin preparations. Possible underlying pathogenic mechanisms are d iscussed.
