Abstract
A number of phenolic antioxidants were prepared using the reaction bet ween acryloyl chloride and o-, m-, and p-aminophenols. These antioxida nts were used in acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber compounds to achieve b etter products for various sealing applications. Several techniques we re used to evaluate the prepared antioxidants and the processed rubber compounds.
