Abstract
We present an unusual case of tophaceous pseudogout in the atlantoaxia l joint with progressive cervical cord compression symptoms and lack o f additional clinical manifestations of CPPD crystal deposition diseas e. This represents only the fourth reported case in the medical litera ture.
