T. Ishiyama et al., THE PRESENCE OF CD28-NEGATIVE T-CELLS IN A PATIENT WITH MULTICENTRIC CASTLEMANS-DISEASE, Annals of hematology, 73(4), 1996, pp. 199-200
We found increased numbers of CD28-negative T cells in a patient with
multicentric Castleman's disease (MCD), who also had significantly dec
reased interleukin-2 (IL-2) production and impaired T-cell proliferati
on. The presence of CD28-negative T cells may be indicative of a funct
ional T-cell defect in MCD.
