Abstract
We found increased numbers of CD28-negative T cells in a patient with multicentric Castleman's disease (MCD), who also had significantly dec reased interleukin-2 (IL-2) production and impaired T-cell proliferati on. The presence of CD28-negative T cells may be indicative of a funct ional T-cell defect in MCD.
