The mechanisms of solid-phase reactions that can be directly related t
o the formation of organic substances in space and their delivery to t
he Earth as well as the problems of prebiotic evolution are considered
. These mechanisms are molecular tunneling (the hypothesis of the cold
prehistory of life), polycondensation of solid monomers in shock wave
s (the problem of delivery of organic substances to the Earth with met
eorites), thermal and thermal-wave explosions and oscillations of the
radical concentration and temperature of cold small particles in the i
rradiation fields, and mechanochemical explosions and autowave propaga
tion of chemical reactions us a result of the positive feedback betwee
n destruction of solids and reactions on newly formed surfaces.
