Tv. Leshina, INVESTIGATION OF THE ONE-ELECTRON-TRANSFER STAGES IN COMPLEX ORGANIC-REACTIONS USING SPIN EFFECTS, Kinetics and catalysis, 37(5), 1996, pp. 620-626
The use of the spin chemistry techniques (chemically induced dynamic n
uclear polarization and magnetic effects) made it possible to reveal a
nd identify paramagnetic intermediates in several organic reactions of
biologically important molecules. The photooxidation of the synthetic
analogues of NADH, 1,4-dihydropyridines, by electron accepters and th
e aerobic oxidation under the action of horseradish peroxidase, as wel
l as the photoinduced interaction of all-trans-retinal with electron d
onors and accepters, are examined.
