The catalytic activity of bimetallic systems containing the rhodium co
mplex HRh{P(OPh)(3)}(4) or HRh(CO){P(OPh)(3)}(3) and the Zr(IV) comple
x cp(2)ZrH(CH(2)PPh(2)) was tested in the hydroformylation reaction of
1-hexene and E-,Z-2-hexene. An increase in n/iso ratio (from 2.2 to 3
.5 in the case of HRh{P(OPh)(3)}(4) and from 0.4 to 3.7 in the case of
HRh(CO){P(OPh)(3)}(3)) was observed in 1-hexene hydroformylation in t
he presence of cp(2)ZrH(CH(2)PPh(2)).
