Abstract
Youden and Steiner's short multifactorial experimental plan was succes sfully applied to the determination of Cu-II, Zn-II and Mn-II by FAAS in synthetic samples simulating whole liver homogenates of 1:5 and 1:2 9 mass ratios. An alternative method of treating the data is described , which makes the modified short multifactorial concept a useful means for the rapid and reliable recognition of those working parameters th at are most likely to jeopardize the accuracy of the analytical result s.
