Abstract
We present a novel digital holographic data storage system based on wa velength multiplexing in 90 degrees geometry, using an automated tunab le diode laser and a lithium niobate crystal. The automatic storage an d retrieval of a 60-kbyte data file, as well as the limitations and fu ture implementations of the system, are discussed. (C) 1996 Optical So ciety of America
