Abstract
The standard molar energy of combustion of pure fullerene C-60 was mea sured using a static-bomb isoperibolic macrocalorimeter: Delta(c)U(m) degrees = -(25965 +/- 12) kJ . mol(-1). This result was confirmed by r ecovery of carbon dioxide in the combustion products. (C) 1996 Academi c Press Limited
