Abstract
Calcia- and yttria-stabilized zirconias have been synthesised by a nov el rapid-combustion route. The oxide-ion conductivities of these stabi lized zirconias are comparable to those of commercially prepared sampl es. Variations in grain boundary impedance of calcia- and yttria-stabi lized zirconias with composition and temperature are presented.
