Abstract
An uncommon intestinal protozoan parasite was implicated in three case s of colitis in Pacific Northwest cats. Pentatrichomonas hominis was i dentified in the stools of three Pixie-Bob cats in this preliminary re port of an unusual disease syndrome. The purpose of this report is not so much to champion P. hominis as a feline pathogen, as to alert othe r practitioners to the existence of this atypical disease presentation .
