Abstract
The objectives of this investigation were to determine whether three E LISA test kits (EstruCHEK(R):Synbiotics Company, San Diego, CA; ICAGEN (TM)-Target:International Canine Genetics, Malvern, PA; and Status-Pro (TM): International Canine Genetics) available for use in the dog coul d be used to accurately estimate progesterone concentrations in the do mestic cat, and to determine the sensitivity, specificity, and accurac y of each kit, using canine levels established by the manufacturers. B lood samples were obtained from 13 intact queens via jugular puncture.
