LUPUS-ERYTHEMATOSUS PROFUNDUS KAPOSI-IRGANG

We report on a 59-year-old woman presenting with erythema and red, sub cutaneous nodules degenerating into ulceration involving tissue of the upper arms, the buttocks, the thighs and breasts. The rare condition of lupus erythematosus profundus with emphasis on the occurrence of lu pus mastitis and possible lupus psychosis is discussed. The ulcerating nodules of lupus erythematosus profundus and the symptoms of psychosi s were successfully treated with a combined therapy of methylprednisol one and chloroquine.
