THERMAL-ANALYSIS OF THE REACTIVITY OF ORT HO-CHLORONITROBENZENE AND PARA-CHLORONITROBENZENE

Because there is risk of autocatalytic reduction, the conversion of ch loronitrobenzene with alkaline alcohol is important in safety manageme nt. The influence of several parameters on the reaction will be descri bed. The experiments were realized in a non commercial calorimeter, eq uipped with for the precision calorimeter ACTRON developed hard- and s oftware. For the nonlinear kinetic evaluation of the experiments the p rogram TA-kin was used. It could be ascertained, that the calorimetry is applicable for the investigation of the influence of parameters on the conversion of chloronitrobenzene.
