Abstract
The selective preparation of 1,8,15,22-tetra(3'-pentoxy)phthalocyanine from 3-(3'-pentoxy)-1,2-dicyanobenzene was carried out. Its nickel(II ) complex was obtained from the phthalocyanine and nickel(II) chloride , and a crystal structure of the complex was determined by an X-ray an alysis.
