Abstract
Racemates of planar-chiral cyclopentadienyl-rhodium and -iron complexe s, Cp'Rh(cod) and Cp'Fe(CO)(2)Y (Cp': trisubstituted cyclopentadienyls , Y=alkyl or halogen) are optically resolved on a preparative scale in to enantiomers with efficincies of 100 and 50%ee, respectively, by liq uid chromatography on a polyamide column using aqueous beta-cyclodextr in as a mobile phase.
