Tin element compounds R(3)SnE (R = Me or Ph; E = NEt(2), OMe or OSnMe(
3)) react with R(2)N-P=NR (R = SiMe(3)) (1) by 1,1-addition at phospho
rus yielding the P-stannylated iminophosphoranes R(3)Sn(E)P(NR)NR(2) (
2-6) In the 1,1-addition reaction of the cyclodistannazane ((t)Bu(2)Sn
NMe)(2) with 1 the five-membered stanna heterocycle (t)Bu(2)SnP[(NR)(N
MeR)]N(Me)Sn((t)Bu(2))NR (7) is formed by ring expansion. The constitu
tion of the novel compounds was characterized by NMR spectroscopy (H-1
, P-31, Sn-119), and for the triphenylstannyl compound Ph(3)Sn(Et(2)N)
P(=NR)NR(2) (3) further by an X-ray structure analysis (space group P2
(1)/c; Z = 4).
