Abstract
Four derivatives of the sesquiterpene lactone zaluzanin C were isolate d from the roots of Crepis rhoeadifolia. Two of these were new epimeri c guaianolides and their structures were determined by spectroscopic m ethods as 9 alpha-hydroxy-4 beta,11 beta,13,15-tetrahydrozaluzanin C a nd 9 alpha-hydroxy-4 alpha,11 beta,13,15-tetrahydrozaluzanin C.
